DESCRIPTION:Nevada Children’s Heart Foundation is thrilled to host our\nInaugural Northern Nevada Walk with the Heart of a Child!​\nDATE:  Saturday\, October 3\, 2026 \n  Sparks Marina Park \nJoin us as we come together to support the 1 in 100 children born each year with a congenital heart defect (CHD). This inspiring family-friendly event celebrates the strength of heart warriors and honors the memory of those we’ve lost too soon. \n\nYour participation helps raise vital funds to advance our mission\, providing critical support\, resources\, and hope to families affected by CHD. \n\nWe need your support now more than ever! Gather your friends\, family\, and coworkers to form a team\, walk together\, and show that your big hearts can help save little hearts. \n  \nWalk Day Schedule\n9:00 AM – Check-In/Community Partner Booths Open \n10:00 AM – Opening Ceremonies \n\n​Team Award Announcements\n\n10:30 AM – Walk Begins \n11:15 AM – Closing Ceremonies \n\nSponsor Appreciation\n\nREGISTRATION FEES* \n• Adult Registration (ages 18 and up) – $25\n• Student & Child Registration (ages 3-17) – $15\n• Senior Registration (55+) – $15\n• Military Registration – $15 \n(Please note that all registration fees will count towards your individual fundraising.)  \n    • Heart families will receive complimentary registration for immediate family members only (Heart child\, parents of heart child and siblings of heart child). Your heart child will receive a free t-shirt and all other individuals raising $50 or more will receive a t-shirt*.
